About Lewis Jones

Lewis Jones is a freelance writer with over 20 years’ experience of copywriting, research analysis and copyediting across a wide range of business areas. Educated at Cheltenham College and the University of Bristol, I gained a First Class BA Honours Degree in French in 2000. I also hold the UK Investment Management Certificate (passed in 2005).

I started my career at Business Monitor International (2000-04). Initially hired as a web content writer, I was then promoted to Deputy Editor of Weekly Publications (print and online). From 2004-06, I was a senior Investment Writer with Barclays, in a role that saw me working across a high net worth, retail and institutional client base.

I started my own freelance writing consultancy in May 2006. Since then, I have been contracted to work on a variety of projects across the B2B and B2C sectors. I remain passionate about providing an exceptional service to my clients.

I am always looking to work with new clients and would welcome commissions from leading financial, industrial or media organisations across the UK and Europe.

Moreover, being based in Bidford-on-Avon, Warwickshire, I am also able to offer my services to local businesses looking to outsource any of their marketing, copywriting or copyediting requirements. This can be on a one-off, or continuous basis.
